Skittles teams given boot over strippers
A row has erupted between a pub landlady and furious skittles players who are being forced out to make way for strippers and lap dancers.
More than 260 villagers in Bere Regis, Dorset, have signed a petition and will oppose Elizabeth Jayne's application for an entertainment licence before Purbeck district council's licensing committee on Tusday. But Mrs Jayne is unrepentant. "The problem with this village is the do-gooders and the churchgoers. They just don't want anything to change," she said.
