The new houses to the left, built in 1999/2000 finally replaced the cottages that burnt down on the site in 1908. The little street garden to the right has gone aswell, as has its thatch roof; replaced by the ubquitious tile roof. 2003 reminds us that cars are as ever, unfortunately a part of our street architecture.
