Welcome to the 2009 Bere Regis Village Newsletter!
H aving run & continually updated this website since November 2003, I have seen it fully mature into a comprehensive guide to the village, both its past & present & also its potential future. The irony is that as all the possible Sections have been mapped out and filled with material, we are reaching a point where significant new updates are becomming few & far between.I contiually ask for Parishoners & other interested partners to suggest new Sections or provide material, but I guess the Site has reached a level of maturity where it has covered the vast majority of possible areas. This is certainly a point to be very proud of, however it does mean that these Newsletters start to look a bit sparse!

Over the year we have added a few more historical photographs & documents to the Village History Section. In addition we added 2 historical village guides; one published in 1732 & one in 1819.
Thank you all for your interest in the site. it's a great source of satisfaction to me that so many people regularly use it. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
