May 2005

Congratulations
to our Annette Brooke who has been reelected as our MP

Our
seat, Dorset Mid & Poole North, was held by the Liberal Democrats
with a very slim majority of 384. It was no. 8 on the Conservative Seat
Targets list so this was a very important battleground for both parties.
The Liberal Democrats increased their majority to an impressive 5,482
(a 5.6% swing from CON to LD) For a BBC analysis of this result click
